Q – How do I get to Kidtropolis?
A – We recommend traveling by train – Prince Regent is the DLR stop you need – please take the Beckton train from Canning Town. Parking on site is available for lots of cars, please refer to the ExCel website for car park charges and the VISITING page for more info

Q – How much are tickets?
A – Up until midnight August 31st, Tickets are £11.50 each (parents and children), from September 1st through to 3pm on October 27th they are £13.50 each, and on site at ExCel they are £15.50 each. Get yours HERE IMPORTANT – if you are buying your tickets online on the OPEN days (25th, 26th, 27th October), you MUST print off the tickets & bring them with you to Kidtropolis – There is NO scanning from mobile device screens on site
Q – Why aren’t there family tickets, group rates or child tickets?
A – We deliberated a lot about ticket options and especially with feedback from a test event last year we decided to keep it cheap and simple for all.
Q – Why isn’t there a VIP ticket
A – We prefer it that the event and all of the fun is accessible to all
Q – What’s included in the ticket?
A – Your ticket includes entry to Kidtropolis and ALL the activities and shows on site within Kidtropolis just check out the WHATS ON page. There is no further charge for anything unless you decide to buy product, food or drink. Some activities may require you to book in a time slot and return later. With an all-inclusive ticket you can budget ahead without hidden costs.
Q – What time can I start to queue up?
A – please arrive no earlier than one hour prior to the show open time. The team will scan your passes and hand out the entry wristbands so that as soon as the doors open you can get in without delay. (08.30 for the AM session, 12.30 for the PM session)
Q – Can I stay all day?
A – Your ticket will be valid for either the morning session 09.30 – 13.30 or the afternoon Session 14.00 – 18.00. If you attend in the morning and wish to stay longer you can purchase an afternoon ticket from the ticket booths on site, if there are any remaining.
Q – Will I get to see and do everything on site?
A- Hopefully but there are no guarantees, you may spend longer in one area than planned because it’s so great. but that the joy of Kidtropolis, wherever you go there will be great things to do and see.
Q – Why a four hour session?
A- After running an event in 2015, visitors stayed on average for 4 hours but in the future wanted a cheaper ticket. So using this information we created two four hour sessions per day and vastly reduced the ticket price per head, in line with visitor demand.
