It’s packed full of live shows, your children’s favourite characters, much loved brands, exciting entertainment and a host of amazing activities. You won’t find this much variety of fun from leading brands and entertainment companies all under one roof, anywhere else in the UK.

Kidtropolis 2017 brings a brand new, unique offering. As part of your ticket price, you’ll be able to book two free live shows to see with your children at the event, as well as enjoying a host of entertainment – some of this entertainment is top secret and will be revealed in the run up to the event.

Q: When is Kidtropolis?
A: Kidtropolis is open 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th October, 2017 (Half Term Holidays for most of England).

Q: What time does Kidtropolis open?

Kidtropolis is separated into two 4 and a half hour sessions. You can choose to attend from either 9.00 to 13.30 or 14.00 to 18.30.

Q: Can I attend Kidtropolis all day?

A: Yes of course! You’ll need to book to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions separately.

Q: How do I get to Kidtropolis?
A: We recommend travelling by train. Prince Regent is the DLR stop you’ll need to please take the Beckton train from Canning Town. Parking on site is available for lots of cars. Please take a look at the ExCeL website for car park charges and our VISITING Page for more information.

Q: What time can I arrive at Kidtropolis?

Queuing halls will open approximately 45 minutes prior to the show doors opening. Please note last entry is one hour prior to event close (12.30 for the morning session, 5.30 for the PM session) and last re-entry to the event is 15 minutes before show close (1.15pm for the morning session, 18.15 for the PM session)

Q: Is Kidtropolis fully accessible?
A: Kidtropolis is all on one level. It is a noisy, fun, vibrant event. Some activities may not be suitable for all, please visit the What’s ON page for more information and please take a look at the Kidtropolis Accessibility page for more assistance

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Only guide dogs are permitted in ExCeL London.

Q: Can I bring in Children older than 12?
A: Yes of course!

Q: Can I leave my child at Kidtropolis and collect them later?
A: All children must be accompanied by a parent / care giver at all times throughout the event.

Q: What’s included in my Kidtropolis ticket?
A: Your four and a half hour ticket includes two free live stage shows AND everything else Kidtropolis has to offer, subject to availability. There are no additional charges unless you decide to purchase product, have a face painted, buy drinks or food or unless additional charges are specified for particular activities. Some activities may require you to book in a time slot and return later. Tickets may also include complimentary gifts, please see the ticketing page for more information.

Q: Is parking included in my ticket?
A: Car Parking charges are separate to your Kidtropolis ticket. There is plenty of parking at the venue, and there are blue badge holder specific locations on site. Parking under the venue (closest to the show is £20 per day, and the Royal Victoria multi-storey is £15 per day)

Q: How long does each live show last and is there an interval?
A: Show times vary depending on the act you’ve booked to see, but all are expected to last up to 25 minutes each. There are no intervals, so please ensure that your little ones have used the toilet facilities before entering a show.

Q: When does each live show start and when should I arrive?
A: The show timetable is available on the LIVE SHOWS page of our website. Your ticket will show you the times for the two shows you have selected. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the show starts. We’re very sorry but if you arrive after the show has started you will be refused entry to the show.

Q: How much are tickets to Kidtropolis 2017?
A: Please take a look at our TICKETS page for more information. Tickets and shows are subject to availability. Tickets for children and adults are the same price.
Tickets will be released in tiers. We recommend booking early as the sooner you book, the cheaper your tickets will be and the closer to the action on stage too (excluding VIP seats). Ticket prices are as follows:

    • TIER 1 £13.50
    • TIER 2 £15.50
    • TIER 3 £19.50
    • TIER 4 – ON SITE £24.50

All tickets are each subject to a £1 admin fee

If you’d like to be in the front few rows for LIVE SHOWS, you can book a VIP ticket upgrade. These additional prices will also be released in tiers.

Tier one VIP tickets are an additional £6/per seat, per show and at tier two an additional £9/per seat. Babes in arms (children aged 12 months and under are free to attend Kidtropolis). Babes in arms are not allocated seats for the stage shows and must sit on the lap of a parent/care giver.

Q: If I have already bought standard tickets can I upgrade to VIP tickets?
A: Subject to availability, yes, this will be offered on site only, please visit the box office

Q: I have only booked one show can I add a second after receiving my tickets?
A: This may be possible, our tech team is working on a solution.

Q: How do I know where I will be sitting in each show?
A: Here at Kidtropolis we like to reward those who buy tickets early so (with the exception of the VIP seats situated at the very front) we fill up from the front. Your allocated block letter will appear on your ticket. On site, you’ll be queued according to your block letter and we’ll fill from the front of that block. People requiring wheelchair/carer spaces will have seats designated in the same block your group is already booked in. Your ticket will also show which stage number your show is on (stage 1 or Stage 2). Please follow the signs on site for designated queuing lanes to each stage and view the visitor floor plan for added assistance

Q: How do I get the cheapest tickets to Kidtropolis?
A: The earlier you purchase your tickets, the better the cost.

Q: Can I buy a ticket to just see a Live Show only?
A: No, the Live shows are free as part of your Kidtropolis Entry ticket, one or two shows can be selected at the point of booking your Kidtropolis ticket.

Q: Do Adults have to buy a ticket?
A: Yes.

Q: How do I apply for a carer’s ticket and find out about access and assistance?

Q: What do I get for a Live Show VIP ticket?
A: Live Show VIP seats are in the front sections closest to the stage and you’ll have a more comfortable chair.

Q: What live stage shows and entertainment is there to see at Kidtropolis?

Q: Can I change my ticket once I have purchased them?
A: Unfortunately not, tickets are not changeable, transferable or refundable. Please check your ticket provider’s terms and conditions.

Q: Can I sell my Kidtropolis Tickets or can I buy Kidtropolis tickets from an individual?
A: Kidtropolis retains the right to ask for proof of your identification before entering the event. The name of the person on your ticket must match the ID you present on the day otherwise you may be refused entry. Buying or selling Kidtropolis tickets unless you are an approved Kidtropolis ticket seller is strictly prohibited.

Q: Will I get to see and do everything at Kidtropolis?
A: Tickets to Kidtropolis include the choice of two live shows, subject to availability. As well as live shows there is a lot to see and do at Kidtropolis. You may not get to see and do everything and please note there may be height, age and ability restrictions on some activities. Please refer to the WHAT’S ON Page for more information. Q: Can I bring in my own food and drink?
A: There is plenty of food outlets operated on site by the venue in the main concourse at ExCeL. There will also be cafés situated within Kidtropolis. You can also bring in your own food and drink, but you will not be able to bring alcohol, glass bottles or cutlery into the event.

Q: Is there First Aid on site?
A: Yes, the venue operates a dedicated First aid room close to Kidtropolis. All the venue security team are first aid trained, plus Kidtropolis security are first aid trained too.

Q: Is there free WiFi at ExCeL ?
A: 
There are two WiFi options within the venue: ExCeL FREE or ExCeL Free fast.  You can log in using your social media accounts or by directly by filling in your details.

Q: Does Kidtropolis continue in the rain?
A: Absolutely, it’s ALL indoors.

Q: Do I need to bring money?
A: There are opportunities to purchase products on site with a mix of cash and card options should you wish to.  There are free cash machines in the venue.

Q: Is there a buggy Park?
A: Yes, ExCeL operates a cloakroom in the centre of the venue, there are charges to leave items, please refer to the venue charges on arrival. Plus there will a dedicated area near to the stage entrance queue as Buggy’s are not permitted into the Live Show areas

Q: Are there baby changing areas on site?
A: Yes. The venue has baby changing facilities.

Q: Are there breast feeding areas at Kidtropolis?
A: Mums are entitled to feed their little ones wherever they wish at Kidtropolis. For your convenience, you may wish to take a seat in one of the coffee areas at Kidtropolis. For those people who’d like a little more privacy, there are seating booths within the Venue boulevard catering outlets

Q: I have lost my ticket/booking reference what do I do?
A: Please email you ticket reference number and or your name to the provider from where you purchased your tickets

Q: I haven’t received my tickets yet. Where are they?
A: Please check your spam or junk folder in your email prior to contacting the ticket provider who sold Kidtropolis tickets to you. If the tickets aren’t there, please then contact the ticket seller.
